Chief Executive Officer

Mario Harik

Mario Harik leads the execution of XPO's strategy, including growth investments in customer service excellence and employee satisfaction. Leveraging his previous service as XPO’s chief information officer, Mr. Harik also oversees the expansion of network capacity and proprietary technology that are transforming the company’s operations. Prior to XPO, Mr. Harik held positions as chief information officer and senior vice president of research and development with Oakleaf Waste Management, chief technology officer with Tallan, Inc., and co-founder and chief architect of web and voice applications with G3 Analyst. He holds a master’s degree in engineering, information technology from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a degree in engineering, computer and communications from the American University of Beirut in Lebanon. Mr. Harik also serves on XPO’s board of directors.

Chief Financial Officer

Carl Anderson

Carl Anderson joined XPO in November 2022 to lead the company’s finance organization. He came to XPO from Meritor, Inc., where over a span of 10 years he served in senior leadership positions including chief financial officer; group vice president, finance; treasurer; and director, international capital markets, market risk management and corporate insurance. Earlier, Mr. Anderson served in several senior financial positions at General Motors Acceptance Corp. He began his career as a senior financial analyst with First Chicago Corp. Mr. Anderson holds a master's degree in business administration from Wayne State University, and a bachelor's degree in economics from Michigan State University.

Chief Human Resources Officer

Josephine Berisha

Josephine Berisha leads XPO’s human resources organization, having previously served as the company’s senior vice president, compensation. Ms. Berisha joined XPO from Morgan Stanley, where she held executive positions including head of compensation. She has more than two decades of senior HR experience with global companies, leading policy development and overseeing technology initiatives for data collection, analysis and reporting. Ms. Berisha holds a master’s degree in organizational psychology from Columbia University, and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from New York University.

Chief Information Officer

Jay Silberkleit

Jay Silberkleit leads XPO’s technology organization, the capstone of an 18-year career as an enterprise systems leader with Fortune 500 companies that have complex technology-centric operations. Mr. Silberkleit joined XPO as vice president, enterprise architecture in 2012, shortly after the company was founded, and was instrumental in creating XPO’s technology ecosystem, including its digital brokerage platform. In 2021, he was named senior vice president, technology, with responsibility for the company’s optimization initiatives in less-than-truckload. Mr. Silberkleit came to XPO from Waste Management, Inc., where he served as principal software engineer.

Chief Strategy Officer

Matthew Fassler

Matthew Fassler is responsible for the company's strategy, capital structure and analysis of growth opportunities. Prior to XPO, over a span of 26 years with Goldman Sachs, he covered many of the world’s most prominent brands, including Walmart, Target, Costco, Home Depot, Best Buy and AutoZone. Additionally, he served as a Goldman Sachs managing director and business unit leader for over 10 years, with responsibility for the broader consumer sector. Mr. Fassler has been recognized 16 times in Institutional Investor’s annual ranking of its All-America Research Team. He holds a degree in history from Yale University.

Chief Investor Relations Officer

Tavio Headley

Tavio Headley is responsible for managing communications between XPO, its investors and the financial community. Prior to joining XPO, Mr. Headley was a senior equity research associate with Jefferies LLC, covering the air freight logistics, railroad and trucking sectors. Previously, he was an economist with American Trucking Associations (ATA), where he was involved in the collection, analysis and dissemination of trucking industry data. Mr. Headley holds a master's degree in economics from the University of Maryland at College Park, and a bachelor's degree in economics from Morehouse College.

Chief Accounting Officer

Chris Brown

Chris Brown sets the strategy for XPO's control systems, external financial reporting and risk management. He joined the company in 2017 as vice president, financial reporting and technical accounting, and was responsible for XPO’s filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission as well as the technical accounting function. Prior to joining XPO, Mr. Brown served at United Rentals, Inc. as vice president, internal audit from 2014 to 2016, and as vice president, assistant controller from 2006 to 2014. Previously, he held various positions at Xerox Corp. and KPMG LLP. Mr. Brown has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Franklin & Marshall College and is a certified public accountant in New York.

Chief Diversity Officer

LaQuenta Jacobs

LaQuenta Jacobs provides leadership and advocacy for diversity, equity and inclusion in the development of XPO’s workplace culture. She joined the company in 2018 as head of human resources for the last mile logistics business unit. Ms. Jacobs has more than two decades of experience leading organizational development initiatives for global public companies, and has championed inclusivity in senior HR roles with Delta Air Lines, Inc., The Home Depot, Inc., Turner Broadcasting Systems, Inc. and Georgia-Pacific Corp., among others. She holds a degree in psychology from Clark Atlanta University.

President East Division

Tim Staroba

Tim Staroba leads operations for the East Division of XPO. A transportation industry veteran, Mr. Staroba began his XPO journey in 1996 as an employee in the account management center. He subsequently moved into operations as a service center manager, and took on a progression of operational roles with increasing responsibility. In 2016, Mr. Staroba joined CFI and served as president until 2018, when he moved to Navajo Express to take positions as executive vice president and president. In 2020 he rejoined the XPO team as senior vice president of operations, and was promoted to president of the East Division in October 2021. Mr. Staroba holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Western Michigan University.

President West Division

Tony Graham

Tony Graham leads operations for the West Division of XPO. Mr. Graham began his career with the company in 1997 as a service center manager. He was appointed as a national account executive in 2000, and was promoted to director of sales in 2006. In 2012, Mr. Graham assumed the role of director of pricing for operations, where he oversaw revenue and profit management, contract review and negotiation and account strategy. In 2015, Mr. Graham became region vice president, and in 2018 he was promoted to senior vice president, revenue management. He took the position of president of the West Division in 2021. Mr. Graham studied psychology at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

President, Transport – Europe

Luis Gómez

Luis Gómez leads XPO’s transportation business unit in Europe, with responsibility for truck brokerage, less-than-truckload and other transportation operations. Mr. Gómez joined XPO upon the company’s acquisition of Norbert Dentressangle SA, where he led the growth of the transportation business in Iberia. He has more than 20 years of industry experience, including earlier executive roles in finance with Christian Salvesen and Transportes Gerposa (now XPO). He holds a degree in business administration from the University of Cantabria in Spain, and has completed executive management programs from the Sloan School of Management at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and IMD Business School in Switzerland.

Senior Vice President, Linehaul

Tanmay Mathur

Tanmay Mathur leads XPO’s linehaul network, managing network operations, purchased transportation spend and network optimization. Mr. Mathur also oversees the development of proprietary algorithms that optimize XPO’s complex linehaul network. Prior to XPO, he spent nearly 15 years in supply chain and logistics planning and operations in e-commerce and the oil & gas industry. Mr. Mathur holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Roorkee, India.

Senior Vice President, Pricing

David Phalen

David Phalen leads technology-enabled pricing strategies for XPO’s LTL network. He came to XPO following 22 years of executive experience in pricing, revenue and yield management in the airline industry. He was most recently with American Airlines, where he served as managing director, international revenue management, and managing director, revenue analysis, ancillary and fulfillment. Previously, Mr. Phalen held senior roles in pricing and revenue management with US Airways and America West Airlines. Earlier, he was with the financial advisory services group of PricewaterhouseCoopers. Mr. Phalen holds an MBA degree from Arizona State University.

Senior Vice President, Sales Operations and Customer Experience

Diana Brown

Diana Brown is responsible for the infrastructure that supports XPO’s sales operations team, including territory management, compensation and analytics. Additionally, Ms. Brown leads the company’s customer experience team in onboarding new accounts and ensuring high customer satisfaction. Her career spans more than two decades in senior roles with customer-centric sales and service organizations, including head of customer success for Amazon Business. Prior to Amazon, she served as senior director, network and financial solutions with SAP and with Ariba. Ms. Brown holds an MBA degree from Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA, and a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and economics from Indiana University.

Senior Vice President, Sales

Anthony Hoereth

Anthony Hoereth is responsible for leading the company’s sales operations to meet revenue and sales targets. This includes developing the sales strategy, driving account growth and fostering new customer acquisitions. With a background of leadership roles in both sales and operations, Mr. Hoereth has 30 years of less-than-truckload experience, 26 with this organization. Prior to his current role, Mr. Hoereth was responsible for leading operations in the Midwest. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Marian University.

Vice President, National Sales

Marissa Christensen

Marissa Christensen leads XPO’s National and third-party logistics sales channels. After joining XPO’s sales organization in 2012, she was promoted to director of sales in 2014 to lead a number of local sales teams. Ms. Christensen subsequently assumed the position of director, national sales, in which she led a team of national account executives. She was appointed to her current role in 2020. Ms. Christensen studied business administration at California State University, Fresno.

Executive Chairman

Brad Jacobs

Brad Jacobs has started five companies, leading each of them to become a billion-dollar or multi-billion-dollar enterprise. These include three publicly traded companies: XPO Logistics, Inc., United Rentals, Inc. and United Waste Systems, Inc. Under his leadership, XPO and United Rentals were among the 20 best-performing stocks of the last decade. Prior to starting XPO in 2011, Mr. Jacobs founded United Rentals in 1997 and led the company for 10 years as chairman, including six years as chief executive officer. He founded United Waste Systems in 1989 and served for eight years as chairman and chief executive officer. Mr. Jacobs serves as non-executive chairman of the boards of GXO Logistics, Inc. and RXO, Inc., both publicly traded spin-offs of XPO.

Johnny C. Taylor, Jr.

Johnny C. Taylor, Jr. is president and chief executive officer of SHRM, the Society of Human Resources Management. Mr. Taylor’s career spans more than 20 years as a lawyer and executive with not-for-profit and for-profit organizations, including IAC, Paramount Pictures, Blockbuster Entertainment Group and the Thurgood Marshall College Fund. He has served as chairman of the President's Advisory Board on Historically Black Colleges and Universities and on the White House American Workforce Policy Advisory Board. He is a trustee of the University of Miami, a member of the National Board of Governors of the American Red Cross, and a member of the corporate boards of Guild Education and iCIMS, Inc. Mr. Taylor is a contributor to USA Today and a Fellow of the National Academy of Human Resources. He holds a juris doctor degree and a master’s degree from Drake University, and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Miami.

Allison Landry

Allison Landry is a former senior transportation research analyst with Credit Suisse, covering the trucking, railroad, airfreight and logistics industries. Previously, Ms. Landry served as a financial analyst and senior accountant with OneBeacon Insurance Co. (now Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions). She holds an MBA degree from Boston University’s Questrom School of Business, and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from College of the Holy Cross.

Jason Aiken

Jason Aiken serves as senior vice president and chief financial officer of General Dynamics Corp. Previously, he was senior vice president and chief financial officer of General Dynamics subsidiary Gulfstream Aerospace Corp., and held earlier positions with General Dynamics, including controller, vice president of accounting and director of consolidation accounting. Prior to joining General Dynamics, Mr. Aiken was an audit manager with Arthur Andersen LLP in Washington, D.C., where he provided audit and consulting services for defense contractors. He holds an MBA degree from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration and accounting from Washington and Lee University.

Michael Jesselson

Michael Jesselson, president of Jesselson Capital Corp., serves as a director of C-III Capital Partners LLC, Ascendant Digital Acquisition Corp. and other private companies, as well as several philanthropic organizations. Mr. Jesselson was a longstanding director of American Eagle Outfitters, Inc., where he served as lead independent director.

Bella Allaire

Bella Allaire is executive vice president of technology and operations with Raymond James Financial, Inc., and was previously managing director and chief information officer of UBS Wealth Management Americas. Earlier, she served for 26 years in various senior technology leadership roles at Prudential Securities, Inc. Ms. Allaire was born in Ukraine and earned her bachelor’s degree from Lviv University.

Irene Moshouris

Irene Moshouris is senior vice president and treasurer of United Rentals, Inc. and formerly served in finance management roles with Avon Products and GTE Corp. Ms. Moshouris has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and economics from Queens College, a Master of Laws degree in tax law and taxation from New York University School of Law, and a juris doctor degree from Brooklyn Law School.
